You were something else. You’ve flown by and I’ve loved you immensely. The year we started out as a family of three and are ending as a family of four. The year our Sil was born with the best delivery a girl could wish for(as far as planned c-sections go) and the year Elle turned three. The year in which she grew out of the toddler stage and danced the whole routine of Let it go until I considered putting a ransom on Idina Menzel (I kid), the year she took up dance lessons and her teacher became her new idol and she became the very best big sister in the world. And my baby Sil, has just had the year of all years. He was born, spent some time in the hospital, has such an appetite I’m afraid he’s going to bankrupt us and learned how to sit up, stand up, brush his teeth, and is on the verge of walking.
It makes no sense, but it seems that the older I get (*le sigh*) the faster time seems to fly by, add a newborn and it goes even faster. I barely had the time to adjust to 2015 and now 2016 is just two days away. 2015 Was the year I took up blogging for realz (or semi-realz, I kinda underestimated the time and energy a newborn takes) and I’ve loved it. It was such a challenge and a pleasure to write a blogpost for Moodkids every two weeks, and I’ve developed a serious Instagram-addiction. I wrote up a list with goals, dreams and plans for 2016 (no new year’s resolutions for me this time). Just for me, to challenge myself and hopefully motivate me to keep pushing harder and keep on. Writing for my blog, taking photos of my offspring, reading your responses and connecting with women (mainly moms though :)) from all over the world. Instagram has the best community ever.
Instagram has proven to be the perfect journal for a crazy busy (working) mom of two and I love to share some of my favourite shots of last year.
So, forgive my curiosity, but what are your plans, hopes and/or dreams for 2016? Do share!!
Here’s to 2016. May it be as glorious and kick ass as you are.
ps. Yay. My first post in English.
